About Lams Construction
A tradition of excellence
Build Rite Construction began in November 1977, with Bob Lam as the sole owner. Over the years, Travis Lam became a part of the business and eventually, in 2010, transitioned Build Rite Construction into Lam’s Construction, LLC. We moved to our new location on Route 33, located in Rockingham County, Virginia, in 2013.

We have multiple other divisions including Concrete Installation, Utility Locating, CCTV Inspection, Hydro Excavating, Industrial VAC-Truck Jetting & Vacuum Services, Drone Services, and Safety Equipment Services. Project bids range from several thousand dollars to over $5 million and includes bonding capability. We perform a mix of commercial and industrial work for both general contractors and individuals.
